Again I think the mark making and thick, overlapped textures in these pieces by Marit Fujiwara could tell a story themselves. It's her mixed media work of printing techniques, fabric and stitching which could be interesting for me to work with for my FMP. Also, as with researching people such as Miyake, I think it's important to have a contemporary side to my research to bring in more ideas and growth to the final project.
